Mitsubishi Mirage Space Star

Mitsubishi's hit of the year, of course, are the Mirage. Or rather: the Space Star.
The Japanese brand has little need to mention a midi-MPV of the past because of problems with trademark rights.

Mitsubishi presented a while ago the Mirage: a new baby in the Global Small strategy of the brand. In Europe, Russia and Ukraine get the little Mitsubishi 'Space Star's name on his birth certificate, because the name Mirage problems with an already registered name yielded.

The names Space Star have been part of the small MPV that in our own NedCar in Born of the tape rolled. In 2005 disappeared this humble space miracle for us in the market and Mitsubishi considers the time ripe to name new lease of life.

Thus the Mitsubishi Mirage a special case. The Colt will disappear from the market, but the Mirage is not his immediate successor. He floats what size is between the A and B segment and will have to consider again the name of an old midi-MPV.

Expectations
Mitsubishi expects a lot from his newest asset. The Space Star state with a starting price of 8,790 euros from February. For that money you get a 3.7 meters and only 845 kilo car with -- under the hood.

Consumption should reach 4 litres/100 km with only 92 grams of CO2 per kilometer into the atmosphere is. Anyone who thinks that money will come from destitute should just scratch their heads.

For less than nine mile is the Space Star standard with stability control, power steering, ABS with EBD, a braking assistant, emergency stop signal, six airbags, electric windows and a height-adjustable steering wheel.
