 Twin'Z concept
Renault comes with a special concept model. The Renault Twin'Z together with Ross Lovegrove designed and packed with cheeky design features.

Industrial designer Ross Lovegrove, including the man behind the design of the original Sony Walkman, has rallied together with Laurens van den Acker Twin'Z this drawing.
Our Dutch designer is responsible for the broad lines, the British Lovegrove has deposited on the decoration of the mischievous blue Frenchman.

Ross Lovegrove has nature merge with modern design. We see a 3.6 meter long compact Frenchman who regards what size just below the Clio falls. During the announcement, the eccentric character master blurted worked with "the next super cinq." It could just be that we have a trial balloon for the next 5 or Renault Twingo for us!

Other vision
The Renault Twin'Z is a foretaste new design ideas from Renault. From outside we see headlights according Lovegrove 'similar to a human eye. Eyelash-like blue lines indicate the concept of a unique face. At the back we see LED lighting that is extended to the roof. The lights mimic the movements of flowing water.

The 18-inch wheels have a pattern inspired by a tree. The branches are spread out from the hub to the outside, and walk on the sidewall of the tire. The matte blue color is a kind of soft, rubbery layer on the car. According Lovegrove the only way to the particular lines of the car to come forward. A b-style lacks incidentally, making the electric sliding doors provide easy access to the car.

Future
The interior has Lovegrove itself from its best side. The Renault Twin'Z gets a molded around the driver cabin is full of organic lines. Grooves run from the steering column on the dashboard and flow through to the door panels.

This includes the interior processed. "The possibilities are endless," says Lovegrove. "In addition to the lighting can give a place the ventilation in these grooves processed". It is just one example of the out of the box thinking that Lovegrove with the concept car wanted.

"Why would you stick to the regular dashboard with buttons and grids, we're in the car industry too stuck in old patterns," says the designer. So there are no standard tools, and we will have to do with a mounted tablet and a smartphone for the information.

The chairs are another example of thinking from a different angle. Lightweight material is in the form of a tree branch cast. Between the branches is a sturdy but openwork fabric hung. "Much cheaper but less light than a heavy car seat, moreover it prevents the chair pulls sweat, that dirty do not just mine."

Lifestage
Lovegrove also knows better than anyone that such a concept car in this form the production stage will never get. "Perhaps in the future models according to another way of thinking the market will appear. We want to make clear that the other way, only then book your honor. Renault has this principle embraced, and this is a taste of a new approach that we in the future will look back on other Renaults, "said Lovegrove.
Also Laurens van den Acker believes that new ways of thinking the future for future car designs. "There is much overlap in how Lovegrove works and how our vision for the future. Cars must express emotion and close to the people," said Van den Acker.

Rear wheels
A 68 hp electric motor, rear-mounted, drives the rear wheels of the little Frenchman to. The carbon fiber with only 980 pound Z28 to a top speed of 130 km / h can get, the range is set at 160 km. The four lithium-ion batteries are placed in the soil.

The Twin'Z is the fifth concept car from Renault's vision of cars 'a life' to present. In 2010 we saw the DeZir, according to the French brand is the embodiment of "love at first sight" Later we saw the Captur, who together discover the world "had to radiate.

The R-Space Concept was to start a family, and the Frendzy Concept embraced the 'world of work'. This fifth, Twin'Z, is totally focused on 'Play' and is the most playful member of the company. Recently we got the TwinFun for eyes, a car that broadly corresponds to the Renault Twin'Z, but a different vision of the concept. The cake slice on the back speaks volumes.

At the Salon International del Mobile Milano, Milan, of course, the concept car officially debut his experience.
