China is anyway a growing market for Porsche, but the brand expects the introduction of the Porsche Macan this growth further will give an additional boost.
Deesch Paapke, CEO of Porsche China, said to Automotive News: "The epicenter of the Porsche sales has shifted from the United States to China we expect a lot of Macan.”
This expectation is partly inspired by the success of the Cayenne in China. Despite a price that is substantially higher than in Europe and the United States, the Asian country's main market for this SUV. Therefore Paapke expects the smaller Porsche Macan just go do it.
