2011 Chevy Impala's engine cradle is made of extruded aluminum making it lighter and stiffer than conventional steel cradles. 2011 Chevy Impala all speed electronic traction control helps keep traction by reducing wheel spin on slippery road surfaces by reducing engine power and modulating the brakes. The refined 3800 V6 in The 2011 Chevy Impala puts out 200 hp at 5200 rpm and 225 lb. ft of torque at 4000 rpm.

The 2011 Chevy Impala comes with the optional Sport Appearance Package offers a 2 fully independent sport touring suspension, 16-inch diamond cut High Sport aluminum wheels, chromed stainless steel exhaust tip, racetrack inspired strut tower brace, four wheel antilock disc brakes with brake cooling ducts, sport bucket seats with leather seating surfaces and a graphite instrument panel and side-door trim appointments. The  2011 Chevy Impala Sedan features P225/60R-16 all-season tires and steel wheels with bolt on full wheel covers.

The "Chevy Impala" rides on a front-wheel drive platform and comes with standard V6 power. Chevy Impala is offered in LS, LT and LTZ retail models. Bluetooth connectivity for hands-free calling now standard on 1LT, and available on 1LS. All Chevy Impala trim levels come standard with a tire pressure monitoring system, head-curtain side-impact air bags, OnStar and XM Radio.

The Chevy Impala LS, LT and LTZ models have varied exterior trim cues that identify each model including unique 16-, 17- and 18-inch wheel designs. For the latest model year, body-color bodyside moldings are standard on all models.

Inside, Chevy Impala comes with many features intended for families, including clever flip-and-fold-flat rear seats (standard on LTZ, available on LT and in the Luxury Package). The forward-flip rear seat cushions reveal a storage tub under the seat that can contain spillage while transporting a variety of items.

While other car makers have updated their large cars, Chevrolet has let the Chevy Impala age –it hasn’t done so gracefully.  The Taurus boasts more power than the Chevy Impala, a more stylish exterior design and class-leading interior features like Ford’s SYNC infotainment system.
