Fiat plant in Melfi gets thorough makeover

Fiat is planning to have two production lines of its main factory in Italy Melfi temporarily close. Not because of overcapacity but for the factory to build two new models.

The Italian carmaker has already received approval from the unions to the two production Melfi temporarily close. Now it is still waiting for government approval.

The plan is for the gates to close on 11 February that two new production lines can be drawn.
