The Peugeot 2008 is 4.16 meters long and 1.74 meters wide. The car has matte 17-inch wheels and bumpers and underbody are black. Stainless Steel 'shells' on the bumper corners and bump strips on the sides make the picture complete adventure. A panorama is an option.
From the second trim level, the 2008 7-inch touch screen on the center console, which includes the Peugeot Connect Apps operable.

The handbrake has a design inspired by aviation. The waiters, the panorama is a place next to the button for the Grip Control in the center console.

Grip
The Traction Control ensures safe handling in all conditions. The system has the following positions: standard, snow, off-road, sand and ESP off. Traction Control is available with 16 - or 17-inch wheels.

The Peugeot 2008 has access to a whole slew of safety features. We call Hill Start Assist, Park Assist, ASR, CDS, ESP, EBD and BAS. Six airbags protect the occupants should the unlikely event that wrong.

The luggage compartment has a capacity of 360 liters. With the rear seats folded grows to 1194 liters capacity. Under the floor is 22 liters of extra storage space.

Engines
At the launch, two petrol and two diesel engines available. In the petrol range is the 1.2 VTi slip with an output of 82 hp. Maximum torque is 118 Nm and the CO2 emissions 114 g / km. The most powerful gasoline engine is the 1.6-liter VTi with an output of 120 hp. Both petrol engines are coupled to a manual gearbox.

The entry-level diesel is the 1.6-liter e-HDi 92 hp and 230 Nm of torque. With 2Tronic's CO2 emissions 98 g / km with manual gearbox is 103 g / km. The strongest diesel is the 1.6-liter e-HDi with 115 hp and 270 Nm. This block is always linked to a manual gearbox.

At a later stage, following a three-cylinder turbo engine. This 1.2 THP comes in two flavors: 110 pk/205 Nm and 130 Nm pk/230. The average consumption is 15 to 20 percent lower than that of a cylinder with a similar capacity, Peugeot promises.

Peugeot unveils the 2008 at the Geneva Motor Show and the car will be in the French Mulhouse of the bands. During the spring appears Peugeots new crossover at the dealers.
