The Land Rover LR2 gets a few changes for 2011. The LR2 comes only in HSE trim, but you can add the HSE Plus and HSE Lux packages for more features. The LR2 comes standard with all-wheel drive.

The 2011 Land Rover LR2 is an SUV with a 3.2L V6 engine, capable of putting out 230 hp, coupled with a six-speed automatic transmission.

Instantaneous acceleration is not one of the properties accorded to the 2011 Land Rover LR2. Land Rover has earned a reputation as a vehicle that can endure tremendous difficulties with remarkable aplomb. The LR2 has a four wheel drive train, and a six-speed automatic transmission, with manual selected gear changes available through the Command Shift system, and a driver-selected sport mode for rapid gear shifting.

Safety features are ample for the Land Rover LR2, and include antilock brakes, electronic traction control, dynamic stability control, cornering brake control, emergency brake assist, seven airbags, including side curtain airbags, and roll stability control, which is an ideal feature for anyone considering taking the LR2 off road.

The 2011 Land Rover LR2 does not represent a great departure from previous years' models of the LR2, with its trademark angular design, large square front headlamps, front fender vents, and slightly more rounded edges to soften the extreme linear design of years past. Performance-wise, Land Rover has always had a reputation for high quality, and the LR2 is no exception.

The Land Rover LR2 has an excellent track record in terms of both maintenance and resale value. With a host of safety features, including anti-lock brakes, emergency brake assist and 7 airbags, the Land Rover is suitable for driving families anywhere. Although not particularly fast, the Land Rover is reliable.

Land Rover, the brand synonymous with luxurious off-road capability, has just released its 2011 LR2, featuring the first-ever front-drive model, an updated look and improved engines for the new model year. Despite the greening of the engine and the front-wheel drive setup, the LR2 can still get to 60 mph in 8.4 seconds and reach 124 mph. Body-color tailgate handle, door handles, and door mirrors are also available or standard, depending on the model. Inside, the 2011 LR2 gets new seat styles, redesigned instruments, and a change to the Land Rover logo, which drops the gold-on-green look for silver-on-green. A range of new colors and seat materials are also available.

The 2011 Land Rover LR2 carries forward Land Rover's excellent four-wheel drive technology and suite of computer-controlled traction and surface settings.
