Ford Tourneo Custom van, Making Debut

Ford of Europe has officially unveiled the production version of the Tourneo Custom Concept that made its debut at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this month. The production model will officially debut at the Birmingham Commercial Vehicle Show in April.

Ford Tourneo cars like the interior of the with its stylish, sculpted driver-focused instrument panel, as well as onboard tech like SYNC, a rear-view camera, lane-keeping assist and driver alert.

Like the concept, the new Ford Tourneo Custom features an almost the car looks, thanks to Ford's kinetic design. The Tourneo Custom offer Sync, Lane Keeping Alert, rearview camera, an engine stop/start system, and Driver Alert.

Powering the front-drive Ford Tourneo Custom will be a trio of 2.2-liter turbo diesel engines. Ford expects the Tourneo Custom to return roughly 34 mpg combined in European tests.

The short wheelbase version step at 195.7 inches, while the long wheelbase of 210.2 inches. Powering the Tourneo Custom Ford Duratorq 2.2-liter four-cylinder with three different power configurations, 99, 123, and 153-hp.
