If no restart is the Nürburgring will soon have to keep the gates closed. The legendary racetrack public is in fact bankrupt.

Nürburgring GmbH, the company behind the famous track and in the hands of the German state of Rheinland-Pfalz, facing a credit debt of 330 million and sees no more loopholes to finish this problem. The hope of a bailout from the European Union to rescue the circuit is now gone and so there was nothing else on the Green Hell to file for insolvency.

No surprise
the demise of the Nürburgring Nordschleife comes as no surprise. The rumbling for years in the daily management of the world famous asphalt. Thus, the accounts are not true and attempts to raise more revenue (for example, an entertainment park and shopping malls) walking on nothing. The losses piled up ever and the taxpayer on behalf of the local authorities no longer prepared to close this gap. But then the plug!
