2014 Chevrolet Cruze
2014 Chevrolet Cruze: The first to use the first platform. The next generation Chevrolet Cruze not arrives until 2014 but will do so with many exciting developments. GM has announced that it will debut a new platform for future models, and the first model will be the Chevrolet Cruze premiere. This new platform called D2XX and used for most sedans and crossovers of future generations. Thus updating the new Cruze is not based solely on a facelift, but also premiere new platform. After the Cruze, GM's other models will also use the platform.

Since 2014 then, the new Cruze platform released with the intention of forming the next generation, and from General Motors hope to achieve a good level of market figures, reaching sales of 2.5 million vehicles using this platform. Having invested over 200 million euros to renovate whole GM, the U.S. Company will need to make a profit.

Aesthetically, the new Chevy Cruze will receive a significant change, especially in the front, which is releasing a new grille and bumper. Yet we are faced with the final version, as over 2013 is expected to further progress in determining the final shape of the product. One of the most characteristic elements of the current generation of the model is its front grill. Thus, the change will be noticeable at first, forming a new trend for other Chevrolet models.

Officially, nothing is confirmed and there is still much to start marketing. From 2013 they will begin to reveal more details for the manufacturer and know its technical features.

New efficient engines
the structural and aesthetic renovation of the new Chevrolet Cruz will be accompanied also by an update on its engines to keep up on the competing models. It is expected that incorporates a diesel engine Eco-Drive still unknown although their actual capabilities.

There will also be options but in Europe gasoline, diesel option currently imposed in the interest of the drivers, so that in our territory Chevrolet focuses on this case.

The current "Chevrolet Cruze" has been renovated this year but has simply tried to upgrade surface, which are seen only cosmetic changes. In 2014 the changes go much further and be headed by the new General Motors platform.

In recent years, Chevrolet has greatly increased its quality, for in times past and has managed to catch up with some of the leaders of the market. But since General Motors does not want to stay here and want to continue progressing to become the rulers. It is no easy task, since among sedans with similar characteristics found the excellent Opel Insignia with a highly polished style, among other models from both Europe and the Asian continent.
