The next generation of the BMW X1 launches in 2015. Under the body is doing more than you would guess from the outside. The next X1 gets rear-wheel drive that is no longer donated, it will instead do a front wheel drive. The optional all-wheel drive will be implemented similar to a technique known Haldex clutch.
